Here’s another study reviewing subpar sperm from men requiring fertility intervention, such as IUI.

Though this study is small (only 16 subpar men), it clearly shows subpar sperm have shortened telomeres. Shortened telomeres indicate DNA damage. DNA damage will lead to poor fertilization rates and the potential for poor embryo quality.

As a person who has been tested and diagnosed with Hashimotos (aka antithyroid peroxidase antibodies), I am aware how little is known about antibodies and NOTHING is known about the treatment of it.

The Journal Fertility and Sterility had a very interesting article about optimizing natural fertility.  It’s filled with interesting facts and bits of information.
